Radford University, a dynamic and growing comprehensive public university, located on the historic New River in the City of Radford in Southwest Virginia seeks a highly accomplished professional for the newly-created position of Vice Provost for Enrollment Planning and Management.
Established in 1910, Radford University offers a wide range of academic, cultural, public service and research programs. Under the dynamic leadership of President Penelope Kyle and Provost Wil Stanton, Radford has embarked on an ambitious ten.year Strategic Plan, 7/17, and is poised for significant and meaningful change.
With more than 9,200 students including over 1,000 graduate students, Radford University distinguishes itself through its commitment to the learning experience. It offers 106 programs through its six undergraduate colleges. In addition there are more than 30 programs of study at the masters and specialist levels with plans to offer doctoral programs in a number of disciplines. Long recognized for its beautiful historic campus, Radford recently embarked on a building campaign to enhance its already excellent facilities.
Position: Reporting directly to the Provost, and working closely with the President, the Vice Provost for Enrollment Planning and Management serves as a member of the Provost.s senior leadership group and has administrative oversight for the offices of Admissions, Financial Aid, and the Registrar. Working collaboratively with the campus community, including the Office of New Student Programs, Undergraduate Advising, Experiential Learning and Career Services, the Dean of the College of Graduate and Professional Studies, and the Deans of the academic colleges, the new Vice Provost will serve as the chief strategist in shaping an enrollment management plan for the University that fosters student success from recruitment to enrollment to graduation and beyond.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated effective leadership experience in college or university enrollment, admissions, and/or financial aid
- A sophisticated understanding of enrollment strategies, market research, and student information systems
- Strong supervisory experience, analytical abilities, superb written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
- The ability to work collaboratively with faculty and staff at all levels in a complex diverse environment
- A master.s degree in an appropriate field is required.
